Supercomputing Program


The MTR/SASSI Super Computing Program consists of 21 program modules: SITE, CNTRL, POINT2, POINT3, MOTOR, HOUSE, CLUSTR, ANALYS, FBASE, RIMP, COMBN8, MOTION, STRESS, GFORCE, IFORCE, FSUM, SNODE, IMPED, DISIMP, FRMFDI and FRMKMC. This program is structured and configured to solve large scale and detailed SSI models with large number of direct interaction nodes associated with deeply embedded structures.  It incorporates High Performance Super Computing (HPSC) on Linux platform that runs on large computer clusters with multi-core nodes and parallel shared memory.  In addition, no Tape 5 is generated and/or stored; therefore, eliminating the need for large storage and/or I/O.  SSI models with over 300,000 structural nodes and 50,000 direct interaction nodes have been efficiently solved with this program.
